The article considers within the limits of modern scientific researches the concept field of integration and determines the basic definitions of educational integration. Structural constituents which show by themselves the "vertical line" of educational integration are found out. The consequences of its influence on the educational process of the modern Ukraine are analyzed. The factors of educational integration are offered on the scientific discretion. It is concluded that integration is the development part that is connected with the integration of separate parts; it is also the specific reaction on the partition processes of the existence and cognition that take place in all the spheres.

The article considers the becoming "mechanism" of the social and cultural adaptation phenomenon in the national spiritual tradition. The analysis is conducted in the conceptual space of the Ukrainian primitivism culture on the material of the biography and creation of the Ukrainian folk painter Maria Primachenko. It is established that during the Primachenko’s life the stimulus in her creation there was overcoming the "complex of inferiority", therefore for her the phenomenon of "compensation" was a basis of original "creative force" which opened up to her a way to the real transformations in the spiritual area. But her talent was formed because of mastering the social norms and traditions of group’s subcultural values, as her mother was the famous master of embroidery.

The article analyzes the understanding of justice by Confucius. The content of this category is compared with the numerous notions in sociology and ethics, which gives us an opportunity to comprehend the nature and essence of its phenomenon. Determining the problem of justice, Confucius addresses to the notion of a "noble man", whose necessary virtue is justice. The main qualities of a "noble man" – "zhen" (humanity), "i" (justice), "chzhi" (knowledge), "li" (ritual), "ven" (breeding). The sense of "i" (justice) is in performance by people mutual duties in accordance with the "rank" of each person – senior and junior, masters and servants, etc.

The article deals with the system of higher education from the perspective of its ability to perform regulatory functions on the language situation in the country. It is noted that the university as a social institution, is able to absorb useful innovations and modernization in optimal from the other mode. The status of the Ukrainian language in education is legally enshrined. The volume of its actual usage and prestige in the universities are at a higher level than in other areas. Higher educational establishments, agreeing interests of the state, educational system, an individual, are willing to be involved in the process of reformatting the national socio-communicative system in order to adapt it to the status of the Ukrainian state, assuming the role of a leader.

The article deals with the problem of the concept evolution of the natural law in the philosophic tradition of Ancient Greece. Thus, different notional levels of the nature (physis) idea affirmed in the ancient concept of natural law are demonstrated and analyzed as well as their specific historical and stadial determination is defined. It also deals with the evolution of the nature phenomenon embranchment and the ways of perception of ''referring'' of natural and legal principles and instructions to society or separate individual. In the analysis context of the ethical aspects of natural and legal paradigm the development of the concept of justice connected with the idea of international legal order is analyzed. The change of ideas about the character of correlation of natural law instructions and social arranging which are determined as ''positive law'' in the later philosophic and legal tradition, is also investigated.

The article examines noetic formation as a scientific field and describes its content and formation history. Basing upon the philosopher’s statements, dating over than 2500 years old, as well as ancient Egyptians' beliefs and perceptions, whose culture is older than 6000 years, it is suggested that noetic as the science originated in the hoary antiquity. Considering noetic through the prism of the theories on the noosphere, global problems, Earth magnetic field, the main ways of noetic formation in the modern epoch are represented.

The phenomenological features of old age fear are emphasized and the peculiarities of their expression are analyzed. It is established that the counterparts of the causal basis influence upon the phenomenological old age fear expressions. The effort is made to determine the causal basis of the old age fear phenomenon. Its components and ties between them are analyzed. The social-philosophical and culturological aspects of the old age fear phenomenon are considered. The fears, that according to the common stereotypes are connected with the old age fear, are contemplated.

The peculiarities of developing skills of listening, reading, speaking, writing are examined. The scientific analysis of this problem, which is in its turn the key to solving many psychological problems in the interpersonal interaction both in business and in everyday life is made. The paper presents the results of the pilot study to increase educational aspirations of young people who live in rural areas. The level of selected implications of educational aspirations of young people is analyzed and determined; the changes that take place during the study are assessed also. Based on the research it is concluded that involving and engaging young people into different types of educational activities one can enhance their educational aspirations and expectations. It is concluded that polish system of education is often a factor leading to social exclusion. There are many reasons that impede access to education, such as finances or lack of educational aspirations, especially among poorly educated people, because they do not notice its value. This issue has become the subject of attention, because the educational aspirations of young people play an important role in their life, can define future employment and life prospects.

The article focuses on theoretical issues of using learning by doing in teaching foreign languages to students of non-linguistic specialties. The main advantages of that learning in the teaching process aimed at developing foreign language communication skills of students at non-linguistic tertiary educational institutions are discussed. The principal ones among such advantages are believed to be: ensuring the most natural way of gaining command of the language and communication; improving the acquisition of the basic speech and communication functions; creating the best opportunities for students’ developing process motivation; enhancing the communicative nature of learning. Chekhovs'ka-Beluga Marta Raising the Level of Students' Satisfaction with their Life – a Proposal of Intervention Programmes /   // VISNYK Zhytomyrskogo Derzhavnogo Universytetu Imeni Ivana Franka. — 2012. — Ή 64. — P. 88—93. — ISSN 2076-6173.
The objective of the study is to examine the satisfaction of life among candidates for the profession of a social worker, and to establish whether the quality of life differs depending on the field of studies. The article presents the results of the independent research where 169 social work students and 122 economics students at three universities in Lublin have been surveyed. It is found that the surveyed groups do not differ with regard to the general satisfaction with life. Based on the survey results, it is recommended that the vision of a good life based on internal values and positive psychology should be fostered in both groups. Therefore, it is worth enriching the educational programme with courses (e.g. electives) providing students with knowledge about the quality of life.

The article focuses on the peculiarities of the professional development of working pre-school teachers in Sweden. The definitions of such concepts as "in-service training" and "professional development" in the scientific literature are determined, the legislative bases are studied and the main forms of the organization of in-service pre-school teacher education are characterized, the partnership between universities and pre-schools which aims at improving pre-school teachers' professional skills is investigated, it is concluded that long-life education of pedagogues is considered to be an essential element of providing qualitative pre-school activities in Sweden.

The article deals with the possibility to use the experience of creating everyday written messages (for instance notes, culinary recipes, forum entries, information requests in Google etc.) for teaching school and university students writing in a foreign language. The special attention is paid to creating the artificial context of written communication in the classroom via modelling such components of the communicative situation as the participants with their social and psychological peculiarities, communicative intentions, outer circumstances and expected texts. Sample situations of written communication in English are presented. A sequence of steps for teaching writing in the suggested context is suggested.

The paper deals with age peculiarities of senior students in terms of developmental and educational psychology. The relation between the age peculiarities of senior pupils and the possibilities of vocational guidance at a comprehensive school is established in the paper. The article considers the structural and semantic peculiarities and mechanisms of the euphemization pragmatic effect realization as a means of nominative modification. Also, under analysis is a motivational basis of forming euphemisms as a mechanism of either stimulation or neutralization of situational reactions in the servicemen’s monologue and dialogue speech. The contextual representation of euphemisms illustrates the socio-psychological motives and communicative conditions of their functioning.

The article focuses on the specific character of the syntagmatic functioning of the Old English preterite-present verbs which function as the first part of the compound verbal modal predicate. The article highlights different stages of the evolution of the modal component in their semantic structure and the development of their semantic and functional type. Some verbs are characterized by the dominant modal component of their meaning, some verbs with the dominant modal component of their meaning preserve lexical meaning as archaic and peripheral. Some verbs function in two main syntactical variants and show an individual character of valence.

The article deals with the questions of euphemisms functioning in the anthroposemantic conceptual sphere by identifying the factors, which stipulate the enrichment of the euphemistic field with new items. The mechanisms of euphemistic verbalization of anthroposemic concepts in the unrelated languages (English, French, Ukrainian and Russian) are singled out and described as well as the main functions of anthroposemic euphemisms in different spheres of communication are analyzed.

The article proposes a cognitive interpretation of differences in the negative representation of events in the English newspaper news and analytical discourses. It has been found out that in the news items negative units represent the unfolding of events or the fact of what happened. Unlike the news items in the commentaries negative units focus an addressee’s attention on some happening or refocus them to a different point of view. Negative conceptualization of events has a sensorimotor basis and involves mental operations with image schemas. Negative units introduce the relations between event participants in the news items and suppress or retain them in the commentaries.

The tasks of each structural component of the speech, methods of the information organization are analyzed. Linguistic peculiarities of the presentation speech arrangement are investigated.

The article highlights the peculiarities of Kenneth Koch's poetic identity recreation in the translations by Yurii Andrukhovych. The research fills the gap within the purview of the contemporary translation studies. It is aimed at elaboration of postcolonial studies paradigm as well as extension of the scope of the Ukrainian-American literary ties. The Ukrainian metapoetic project is analyzed in line with the interpretative-vector theory of poetry translation. It is argued that the translations by Yurii Andrukhovych provide a comprehensive mastery representation of Kenneth Koch's creative heritage. The prevailing method of the project's implementation is heuristic method of metapoetic discourse generation.

Manipulation is considered as the kind of psychological influence of one literary character on another in the fairy tale discourse. Manipulation causes the desire to do anything in favour of the subject of manipulation. Manipulation is accomplished by using the strategies and tactics. The different classifications of the manipulative influence strategy have been analyzed. The main tactics of manipulative strategy in the English fairy tales discourse have been distinguished in this article.

The thorough attention is paid to the role and the specific functions of a phraseological unit that is used as a part of the predicate. An attempt to classify the phraseological units, which contain colour terms and can serve in a sentence as a simple verbal phraseological predicate, is made in this article.

The article deals with the investigation of the role the narrator plays as the element in the narrative structure of the works by George Eliot. The investigation of the narrator’s type gives an opportunity to eliminate the idea of narrator's identification with the author herself, and to highlight the functions of the narrator as the medium between the reader and the fictional world. Also the question is that formation of reality in the literary work does not represent an order which is in the world, but is some personal world of the narrator, world which he remembers and the one he interprets from the own point of view in the form of the narration. And exactly this narrator is an inseparable part of the narrative model of George Eliot’s works and he is characterized as a historical novelist, who tells what is real for him, about the real people and real events.

The article focuses on the satirical nature of works on school life by democratic writers like I. Franko and S. Vasyl'chenko and traces the peculiarities and character of such kind of satire. The present publication is mainly aimed at revealing the artistic presentation of a rural teacher work from the social point of view by the writers. It depicts the satirical approach in the stories by writers and pedagogues as well used to dismiss the existing social system that caused intolerably hard living conditions under which public teachers lived. It also investigates how the outstanding writers managed to portray the essential educational problems with keen criticism through comic, humour and satirical means. Satire has enabled them also to dispel in an original way ugly typical phenomena from the school life that were retarding the development of educational process in the autocratic and bureaucratic system at the turn of the century.

The article analyzes pragmatic peculiarities of the speech act of gratitude in the English fiction discourse. It is determined that gratitude manifests itself in direct and indirect speech acts and can be expressed by performatives and representatives. Gratitude can have a positive nature, being the reaction on the compliment, help, warning, invitation, care, congratulations, wishes, condolence and offer; and negative nature when expressing polite refusal and having the connotation of irony and reproach. Gratitude acts as a pragmatic marker of the positive and negative politeness.

The significant correlation dependence between contents of general proteins, lipids and glycogen and accumulation of heavy metals at the basic industrial species of fish in the Zaporozhian reservoir is determined. Predatory fish as compared to peaceful ones showed relative resistance to majority of heavy metals; cadmium, iron, lead, nickel, mercury were the most toxic for them. The peaceful fish were sensitive also to mangan, zinc and copper toxic action.
