Slusar V. M.  The Understanding of Corporality and Objectness as the Social-Cultural Factor of Personality Self-Realization / V. M. Slusar // VISNYK Zhytomyrskogo Derzhavnogo Universytetu Imeni Ivana Franka. — 2009. — ¹ 43. — P. 10—14.
The article proves that the biological determination of personality’s self-realization is fully subordinated to the cultural one and becomes its component. The personality overcomes its own given by nature corporality acquiring the ability to change the organism, as a rule adjusting it to the stereotypic ideas of the culture ideals. In case of none-correspondence of the personality’s self-realization to the "corporal" samples which are asserted in the modern culture, it is limited by the number of norms, the majority of which are of dehumanized character.

The paper considers a tolerant attitude to the alien as the fundamental principle of human communication and "the dialogue of cultures". Tolerance makes the communication possible and serves as a sign of self-reliance, as well as an indicator of one's own position reliability and openness of an individual and culture. The author points out that the understanding and the perception of the alien, respect and the desire to understand, what is the high tolerance level – that is the directing point on the way that leads to the national culture rebirth.
