The paper is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of liberation of Kiev and Zhytomyr region from Hitler Invaders. The paper focuses on the Boundary of Courage on the territory of Zhytomyr region where the I Ukrainian front troops stopped the contrattack of Hitler’s army during fierse battles in November 1943. The enemy troops tried to throw the Soviet troops from the bridge-head on the right bank of the Dnieper and to capture Kiev again. From the Bounary of Courage in December 1943 the attack of the I Ukrainian front troops which would be famous under the name of Zhytomyr-Berdichev offensive operation began again and in consequence of that Zhytomyr and almost all of Zhytomyr region were liberated.
