The article analyzes the first four Commandments of the Decalogue (Ten Commandments) as the basis of Old Testament ethics following the historical principle. The attempt to reconstruct the primary meaning of the Commandments is made. The role of the Decalogue as the basis of the official ideology of the Ancient Jewish State is highlighted. The correlation of the Christian and Pre-Christian compound parts of the first four Commandments of the Decalogue in the modern Christian interpretation is examined. The emphasis is made on the non-Christian understanding of the first four Commandments in the comparison with their Christian interpretation.

The article dwells on the approaches to the essence of corporate culture in the relation to the specific impact on the organizational efficiency and influence factors on its creation. The motivation increase of employees to work more effectively in the light of moral values and corporate culture is proved. The origin prerequisites and processes accompanying the development of this phenomenon are outlined. Theoretically generalized are the principles and choice basis of the developmental strategy of corporate culture. A system of measures is presented for implementing the corporate culture in the company. Taking into account the current threats to the Ukrainian business, the attention is focused on the strengthening the corporate culture by means of employees' personal motivation and their social cohesion.

The article conducts the parallel between becoming the personal self-identity on the basis of practices of itself and cultural and historical development of creation as the display of being. It is exposed, that both processes have an identical step structure, ontological direction and are, in fact, the way of opening of being through the essence. Creativity exposes itself as the existence of human being, carries out the essence filling of personal self-identity. The concept of personal self-identity, taking off in itself not only the active subject's self-affirmation, but also the moral personality's self-determination, and its creative self-realization, introduces the new sense in the paradigm of activity.

The article focuses on the theoretical comprehension of the content of orthodoxy as one of the basic concepts of classical Protestantism. The place and conditions of the orthodoxy evolution as the absolute consistency in adhering to the true principles of the Christian faith are determined. In particular it is clarified that in the formation process orthodoxy claims not only unconditional truth of certain concepts, but also becomes a philosophical imperative for the believers. The ethical and philosophical background and doctrinal documents, on which the religious, church and cult system of orthodox Lutheranism and Calvinism is based, are discovered. The conceptual features of the fullness, reality formation and transformation of the orthodox Protestant conceptions in the studies of the neo-orthodoxy are deduced.

The falsity and inexactitude of some affirmations concerning the meaning of the rhetoric is considered.

It is concluded that based on the analysis of the development of higher education and long-term trends in the formation of foreign students amount, Hungarian experts predict the continuing expansion of higher education in Hungary and see a real opportunity to increase the number of foreign students in Hungary in four times until 2020.

Basing on the method of the comparative translational analysis, the article presents an attempt of revealing Yiddish lexemes' connotative meaning peculiarities as registered in the translated version of Oscar Wilde's poem "The Ballad of Reading Gaol". Singling out three guiding motif complexes, the peculiarities of the constitutive lexemes' connotative meaning are analyzed and the observation results are compared with the corresponding characteristics of the target text as viewed against the vast linguistic-cultural background.

The pronunciation peculiarities of consonant and vowel sounds by the Southern American dialect native speakers in contrast to General American English are the object of the analysis of the article. The majority of the changes are marked in the vocalic system. The article highlights the gender factor influence on the speech of the characters of TV series "Reba: Season 6". The pronunciation of three age categories presented in the series has been investigated. It has been revealed that women referring to the second group (aged forty and over) are the most vivid Southern American dialect representatives on the phonetic level.

The article is devoted to the analysis of explication of hidden influence in the slogans of the commercial German advertising. The interdisciplinary approach, which is applied in the research, takes into account the psychological and sociological investigation of hidden influence techniques in advertising. The linguistic realization of hidden influence tactics, based on the appeal to the addresee’s basic needs for communication, love, affection and belongingness has been examined. It has been shown, that these implicit ways of motivation strengthen the illocutionary force in the discourse of commercial advertising.

The article is devoted to the study of non-regular and indirect speech ways of actualization of continuum as a text category on the material of the novel texts by a famous American prosaic of the XX century K. Vonnegut. The complexity and debatable character of the text categories research as such is shown. The special stress is made on the author’s usage of the stylistic device of allusion, its various semantic kinds and their combinations. It is demonstrated that allusion is an important text means to express both time and space continuum. Such usage of allusions is an important issue of the writer’s individual style.

The children's literature which was mainly developed by translations in the early years of the Republic also was enriched by new children's works which were written by many writers and poets. Unlike previous years, children's poets and writers appeared after 1970s.

The interference level of different lexical units as components of the phraseological gap is established and the languages which belong to different language groups for instance English and German, Ukrainian and Russian, Romanian and Hungarian are characterized. Thanks to the methods of the mathematical statistics the probability values namely the values and the possibilities of their sizes are established.

More than one hundred Azerbaijani literary people found shelters abroad. So the German migrant literature began. It was determined that founders of this literature began their struggle against communism for independent statehood.

Gorbachova N. I. Social Status and Social Role as Basic Notions of Social Structure

The article deals with the social structure analysis. The special attention is focused on the essence of two basic notions, ''social status'' and ''social role'', that are of great importance for social structure analysis. The article presents two types of statuses – ''ascribed'' and ''achieved'' – the classification that is generally accepted. It also gives several classifications of social roles. A set of roles is viewed as a full collection of role relations. The difference in a set of roles and role multiplicity is highlighted. The attention is also paid to the reasons of role conflict and role tension. Different ways of these problems solving are presented in the article.
