The article discusses the relationship of synesthesia and art practice, which is carried out thanks to the artistic and creative person's activity or the meaningful perception of the artistic innovation. The attention is paid to the aesthetic experience value for the synesthetes. It is indicated on relaxation, compensatory, therapeutic moments of attracting synesthetes to artistic and creative activities. The potential of art pedagogy and music therapy as trends in contemporary art practices is researched. The particular attention is paid to developing the ability to synesthesia through the involvement in childhood to the aesthetic activity, especially the artistic creativity. The values of the integration of music and colors with the aesthetic education are the means of the person's harmonious development.

OE sequence of a personal pronoun and the intensifying adjective self/sylf was the source of ME reflexive pronouns and intensifiers. At the turn of OE and ME periods self/sylf underwent drastic changes which began with its semantic weakening and categorial reinterpretation (substantivation). This lead to the difference in reflexive pronouns form in present-day English depending on the person (personal pronoun+self in the 1st and 2nd person and possessive pronoun+self in the 3rd one). The article deals with the peculiarities of cultural literary paradox in medieval literature. Thus, it highlights the paradox-forming role of carnival as a specific cultural feature of the epoch. The decisive role in shattering of the medieval literary canon is ascribed to co-existence of two cultural layers Christian and folk. Demythication of Christian myth, incorporation of carnival elements into liturgical and semi-liturgical plays initiated the fusion of church theatre and folk theatre, likewise the growing criticism of Middle Ages dogmatic and scholastic nature led to secularization of the society.

The situational usage of appropriate convincing arguments which are defined as the compliance of the form and content to the requirements of the communicative situation is clarified. The examples of argumentative or rhetorical situations, speech cliche of convincing argumentation for the implementation of interlocutors argumentative roles in persuasive dialogues are given. It is considered that there are some pragmatic factors: self-communicative, communicative adaptability, communication system compatibility for developing abilities and skills for convincing argumentations in a foreign language communication. The author represents her own system of work through interactive forms, with the help of creating an algorithm in the communicative activity-process of technology of convincing argumentation.

The article deals with the notion of stance which is expressed with the help of markers of hedging and accentuation markers. The considerable attention is paid to the category of modality as a factor of establishing the effective communication. The category of epistemic modality as a means of the speakers presentation is described. The article contains the comparative analysis of hedging markers and accentuation markers classifications according to the language levels and the context. On the basis of foreign and native linguists workings out personal classifications of markers of hedging and accentuation are presented.

The article deals with the linguistic nature of verbal nouns in the French language. The origin, main methods of nouns formation, as well as the relationship between the word-forming verbal stem and the lexical meaning of derived nouns have been analyzed in this article. The semantic categories of derivatives and their distribution in the modern French language have also been defined by means of continuous sampling from French newspapers and magazine. The parasynthesis in the group of verbal nouns is described. The phenomenon of homonymy is considered to be the result of polysemy of word-forming verbs.

The article considers actual issues of current studies in the conceptual representation of universal economic concepts taking part in the formation of the modern linguistic worldview. Specifically, it focuses on metaphorical means of the conceptualization of economic crises in the economic discourse of two historical periods: 2007 2010 and 1929 1933 in the context of basic tendencies of diachronic variations of the concept ECONOMIC CRISIS. Using cognitive linguistic instruments, the conceptual metaphor theory and component analysis, in particular, to distinguish cognitive properties projected on the source domain ECONOMY it has been determined that the most frequent method of the metaphorical presentation of the concept ECONOMIC CRISIS is the orientation metaphor CRISIS IS DOWN and the conventional metaphor CRISIS IS A STATE OF EMERGENCY which are further split into numerous metaphors.
